Cyprus throwdown 2015 – les WODS
Depuis ce matin la compétition a débuté pour tous les compétiteurs du Cyprus throwdown parmi lesquels les Français(es) Manon St Maixent (CF Initium), Celia Gabbiani (CF Menton), Michael Page, Julien Ramos (CF Menton), Valentin Chevalier (CF Initium), Quentin Vignot (CF Initium) (Master 35-39 ans), Stéphane Pimont (CF Initium) (Masters 40+). On peut noter que les organisateurs rivalisent d’originalité dans la création des WODS même si on y retrouvent certains standards.
Samedi 10 octobre
Workout 1 – TEASER
AMRAP 8 minutes:
7 shoulder to overhead
7 bar muscle ups (pull ups*)

NOTES
*Master Women, Scaled Men and Scaled Women, must do chin over the bar pull ups instead of bar muscle up.

Workout 2 – THESEUS
Complete the following for time:
1600 meters run with hurdles (1m height hurdle every 100m)

Workout 3 – ATLAS

NOTES
*Minimum weight, does not apply on Scaled Division
*Minimum weight to add on each attempt is 5kgs
EXPLANATION
This workout is splitted in three 2mins windows. On each window, the athlete will be given 2 attempts for finding his one rep maximum snatch. If he is successful on his first attempt, the athlete must wait for the two mins to be completed and then move to the second window. If the Athlete fails on the first attempt and still has time left, he has one more attempt to lift the same weight. On the completion of the first window, the athlete moves to the second window where he can add weight. The same process applies for the second and third window. The athlete cannot reduce weight in any case. After the 3rd window is completed the athlete’s top lift will be recorded as the final score.
