The Athlete Games Les WODS de la finale

Ce week-end aura The Athletes Games, la prestigieuse compétition de CrossFit de Londres (anciennement le Battle of London). Comme les années précédentes de nombreux Français prendront part à la compétition qui aura lieu à the Phones 4u Arena. Espérons que le sol résiste mieux que l’an dernier!

WOD 1

INDIVIDUALS | MASTERS 35-39

4 rounds for time of:
10 Front Squats 70/47.5kg
15 Toes-to-bar
Run 1 lap of the arena

MASTERS 40-44
4 rounds for time of:
10 Front Squats 60/42.5kg
15 Toes-to-bar
Run 1 lap of the arena

MASTERS 45+
4 rounds for time of:
10 Front Squats 50/32.5kg
15 Toes-to-bar
Run 1 lap of the arena

Time cap 10 mn.

1 rep max squat, press and deadlift.
A) 4min Squat
B) 3min Press
C) 5min Deadlift

Score is total weight lifted

In a 9 minute window:
Accumulate 60 seconds in a freestanding handstand before moving onto an AMRAP of:
10 Ground-to-overhead 50/35kg
15 Calorie row
20 Pull-ups

Score is total reps
The handstand will be capped at 4 minutes. If athletes have not completed the 60s handstand after 4 minutes they will move on and start the AMRAP at that point.

WOD 5 – Snatch Ladder

INDIVIDUALS \ MASTERS 35-39

Athletes will have 50 seconds to snatch each weight in the order set out below. There will be a 10 second transition between each lift.
1. 80/45kg
2. 85/50kg
3. 90/55kg
4. 95/60kg
5. 100/65kg
6. 102.5/67.5kg
7. 105/70kg
8. 107.5/72.5kg
9. 110/75kg
10. any weight/any weight

MASTERS 40-44 \ MASTERS 45+
Athletes will have 50 seconds to snatch each weight in the order set out below. There will be a 10 second transition between each lift.
1. 70/30kg
2. 75/35kg
3. 80/40kg
4. 85/45kg
5. 90/50kg
6. 92.5/52.5kg
7. 95/55kg
8. 97.5/57.5kg
9. 100/60kg
10. any weight/any weight

The athlete may have as many attempts as they like at each lift.
If an athlete misses a lift they do not progress to the next platform.
Score is highest weight lifted

There will be an athlete cut following this workout, the top 40 individuals, the top 10 masters 35-39 and the top 5 masters 40-44 and masters 45+ in each division and of each gender will progress to compete in workout 6.

Passionnée de sports et multi-pratiquante (hand, rugby, course à pied, VTT...) j'ai découvert le Crossfit en mars 2011. Depuis j'ai progressé dans toutes les disciplines que je pratiquais, j'ai perdu du poids et j'ai pu me lancer dans de nouveaux défis. Je continue d'apprendre et de m'amuser tout en essayant de partager mon expérience.
